As a computer vision engineer at Compound Eye you’ll contribute to design and development of various core technologies and products, such as real-time perception, 3D reconstruction, visual-inertial odometry, and more. You will:
Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art techniques and algorithms for robotic perception
Write production code in C++ for a variety of platforms, including GPUs
Help to recruit and potentially lead a team of similarly-qualified engineers
To thrive in this role you have:
A good grasp of linear algebra
Extensive experience writing production quality code in C++
Familiarity with highly parallel programming frameworks such as CUDA, Metal or OpenCL

Of particular interest are people that worked with pose estimation, calibration and sensor fusion.

They will be creating and implementing very mathematically involved algorithms.

We don’t prioritize years of work, but I would be surprised if anyone with fewer than 3 years experience hits this.
Work history and skills are more important than degrees and alma maters.
Transparent that we work in defense. We know this isn’t for everyone and our product is focused on consumer vehicles long-term, but for now, we do have defense projects.
