Technology Talent Acquisition Manager - Chefman/CHEF iQ

At the XFL, a startup professional football league owned by WWE's CEO, I played a key role in launching a major sports organization that aired on ESPN, FOX, and ABC in 2020. Recognized as a top startup by LinkedIn and Forbes, the XFL was a dynamic & fun environment where I was responsible for executing full life-cycle recruitment for senior leadership and executive positions (tech and non-tech). Acting as a strategic business partner, I managed recruitment across all lines of business, working closely with hiring managers and executive leadership.

I developed and implemented effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, utilized diverse platforms and networking strategies, and managed the candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding. This included interview preparation, offer negotiation, and background checks. I also led the creation of a standardized candidate assessment process, developed behavioral interview guides, and crafted targeted job descriptions.

I spearheaded the development of the XFL New Hire experience and internship programs, ensuring a seamless onboarding process, including onboarding 70 football players in just two days during Training Camp. My efforts saved the XFL over $100K in agency fees and contributed to its recognition as a leading startup.

At Alta, a boutique technology staffing firm, I specialized in full lifecycle recruiting and sourcing for executive and manager-level positions across various technology domains, including application development, infrastructure, big data, cloud, and more. Here, latency is a third factor added to the standard precision/recall tradeoff because it’s important we can detect humans quickly. Our approach involves LLM embeddings, few-shot learning, data labeling, and continuous monitoring of model performance in prod.</li></ul></li><li>Smart call funnels &amp; playbooks (data wrangling, backend eng, GPT-3, UX)<ul><li>At what point in the conversation do my reps get stuck? What are the toughest questions that we need to address? Can I “program” a playbook so that Nooks will help my team standardize toward best-practices?
