This person will be the 1st forward deployed member of Hightouch's AI Decisioning team, owning the end-to-end performance of AI-driven marketing campaigns for our enterprise customers. This is a high-autonomy role at the intersection of applied ML, customer strategy, and data engineering--this person will need to comfortable in all facets.
Day-to-day, you'll diagnose why campaigns are performing the way they are, tune the underlying ML levers (reward functions, feature matrices, training windows), and translate those findings into clear, compelling narratives for marketers and executives who don't speak ML. You'll run deep analyses in Python and SQL directly against customer data warehouses, build reusable tooling and notebooks, and design and evaluate experiments end-to-end.
This is extremely customer facing. This person will be expected to present insights, guide strategy, and partner with engineering and solutions teams to identify new opportunities. Since this will be employee #1 in this function, they will need to feel comfortable operating at this level. This hire should enjoy tackling different problems, be ok with context switching between customers, and be excited by working alongside MLE's and SWE's.
